About Us

Mobile Ortho Vets is a peripatetic small animal surgical service. We provide soft tissue and orthopaedic support to veterinary practices from the West Midlands and surrounding counties through to Hertfordshire.

We support first opinion veterinary practices, by allowing them to retain some of their referral surgical caseload and treat their patients in-house.

Services for Referring Vets

We welcome orthopaedic radiographs, and can give a second opinion, free of charge.

Our service enables first opinion vets and nurses to enjoy a greater exposure to various treatments and surgeries that might otherwise be referred elsewhere. This, in turn, increases clinical confidence, and can improve work satisfaction.

Most pet owners are very appreciative of this option, as their pets can be treated in a familiar environment.

Your surgeon will arrive at the practice with all the equipment and implants needed for the planned procedure. Before proceeding with surgery, the surgeon will hold a consultation with the client to examine the patient, discuss the condition, explain the procedure, address the risks and give aftercare recommendations.

Our fees are fixed, and estimated in advance, in order to make planning ahead as easy as possible for both you and your clients.
